Guile Branco's Biography

Attending law school in his home country of Brazil, Guile Branco http://imdb.com/name/nm2275298/ dropped out to pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor. Soon after getting his drama degree and studying with the famous Brazilian actor/director, Coffin Joe, Branco saw his dreams coming true in theater, acting in as many as twenty professional plays. Later, Branco appeared in national level soap operas for Globo, SBT, and Record (the top three Brazilian television broadcast leaders). Branco eventually wrote, produced, directed, and acted in Two Destinies (a play that still runs in Sao Paulo, Brazil). Branco had even a bigger dream than becoming a successful actor; it was to become an American. So he gave up his promising career in Brazil and moved to New York City. As an immigrant and not knowing anyone, Branco overcame many tough obstacles. Within seven months of moving to New York he built a successful personal training business that enabled him to produce his first play in America.Branco produced and starred in a newer version of the play Two Destinies. It was produced as an EquityShowcase in Manhattan http://twodestinies.net/. Branco set out and soon acted in more then twenty independent films. Building a successful acting career in New York, Branco once again decided to take another chance. So he moved to Los Angeles, where actor’s dreams are crushed or made. Only seven months in Los Angeles and he has already produced a music video and is currently producing a documentary about weight training, entitled Why We Train.
